Description

This project is an ultra bright LED-Flashlight. The Flashlight has a maximum Power output of 100W. A conventional Flashlight has about 0.5-5W. At night I can brighten my entire garden with it. In the future I will make another version with a microcontroller and a display where you can use the flashlight as a stroboscope and also dimm the light.

 

For this build I used following materials:

How to build:

  1. Battery-Pack
    1. Connect 3x 18650 batteries in series
    2. Wire it up to the BMS
  2. LED-Driver
    1. Connect the LED-Driver to the Battery-Pack
    2. Set the correct voltage (30-36V) (the more voltage you set the more power the LED draws)
  3. LED
    1. Screw LED on heatsink
    2. Screw fan on heatsink
    3. Connect LED to LED-Driver
  4. Assembly the rest
