SPOOL TOOL: AMS Cardboard Spool Tape Dispenser

Never struggle to apply electrical tape to your spools again! So satisfying to use, too!

Bambu Lab says never to use cardboard spools in your AMS due to the damage and inconvenience it can cause. But we all know some of the best filaments come on those darn spools! You may have tried printing spools and spool adapters, only to have them not work on every filament brand… Why keep all those spools and adapters around when you can just apply electrical tape* to the edges?

Here's a SPOOL TOOL that you can use to apply your AMS-saving tape perfectly to every single spool! Also, never lose the end of your tape again! Just slap a roll into this convenient dispenser so it's ready when you need it!

Notes:

• If you have this electrical tape* (my favorite) or one with an ID of ~29-32mm, you can print the “adapter” (second build plate). This is because I had to adjust the dimensions to support other tapes, such as this one* for V2. Most tapes should still work; some just fit more snugly with the adapter.
