New to modeling, have been using the prototypes for a little over two weeks now, and have been fine tuning them to my likings. So there may be some fine tuning to come, so please leave your feedback! Working on a mount(for this hook) to attach your impact/drill to a wall.
STANDARD HOOK
Meant for everyday use, a happy medium between a slim and wide hook.
Hooks plywood, and your belt very easier, and can be under hung. (shown in picture)
Can be used on either side of the impact. I have no issues, but larger hands may have problems while using non dominant hand.(scrape hand)
Not great for tight spaces, but with a impact bit as a screwdriver it only takes a second to take on and off.
RAFTER HOOK
Meant for hanging off a 2x4, which is very useful when working on rafters. (Gives you more options up there)
I would not daily this hook since it takes up larger space, but plan making a bunch to keep around. (uses same hardware)
HARDWARE
Machine screw pan head Phillips M3-.5 x 16 (original screw is M3-.5 x 10)
#8 Split lock washer (not super happy with fit, but it works)
PRINT SETTINGS
Ender 3
Quality - .16-.2 (what I test)
Material - PLA - 200C - 60c
Infill - 30-80% (I have varied infill on all my prints only 20% has broken, but I have not had a high drop yet)
Pattern - Cubic
Speed - 50-60ms
cooling - 100%
Support - Tree - touching build plate
Adhesion - not needed
I DO NOT suggest printing vertically, your prints will break easily even with high infill.
