One of the most interesting prints I've done so far. Fascinating to watch. Managed to print with no internal supports and it turned out great!

Came out well I added some things. All the supports where clean and easy to remove with suggested settings I did have to ass a prime tower to keep artifacts out of the print.

Great model, thank you! Printed well, I scaled mine 60% for my young son's dress up party. First time I've painted a printed model, didn't have much paint on me so did my best with what I had, and he loves it, so I'm happy :)  Thank you for the great model emp3thy.

One Plate Print

Here it is, Mjolnir on a single plate. This is a big print so:<ul><li>make sure your filament is dialed in before you print this</li><li>make sure you're printing it in a room with a constant temperature (I've found the P1S does not like being in a cold room)</li><li>make sure you've got a brand new roll of filament ready for this. You're going to need at least 600g of filament to print this</li></ul>Watch the first layer. I've seen issues sometimes with the front decorative plates and with the pommel on the first layer sometimes. It's why the first print layer on this is so big (extra squish).&nbsp;The V2 version of this print profile of this is available, takes less filament and is easier to assemble.

Here it is, Mjolnir on a single plate. Version 2.&nbsp;This is an updated print profile which:<ul><li>uses less filament (647g rather than 694g)</li><li>handle and pomel segments modified to be much easier to assemble.  Everything just slots together</li><li>Pieces that need re-enforcing are wired up print with 5 outer walls (but only for the bits that need it)</li><li>Connecting handle to pomel is easier - it's set up to make sure the handle is always aligned the correct way</li><li>The seam running around the middle of the hammer has been removed (and, boy, was that not fun to do)</li></ul>This is printed with Bambu basic PLA so it should just be print and go.  I've printed this twice and both sets of prints have come out really well. This is a big print so:<ul><li>make sure your filament is dialled in before you print this</li><li>make sure you're printing it in a room with a constant temperature (I've found the P1S does not like being in a cold room)<ul><li>If you are printing in a cold room, turn up the bed heat to 68 for first layer and 60 for subsequent layers</li><li>Reduce the first layer speed to about half the default speed.</li></ul></li><li>make sure you've got a brand new roll of filament ready for this (Or an AMS). You're going to need at least 600g of filament to print this</li></ul>Watch the first layer. I've seen issues sometimes with the front decorative plates and with the pommel on the first layer sometimes. It's why the first print layer on this is so big (extra squish).&nbsp;Also, I've kept this in .2mm layer height.  Reducing layer height is good for<ul><li>extra detail</li><li>if you've got a curve that you're trying to make less blocky</li></ul>If you aren't trying to fix either of these problems then printing at a lower layer height will give you one thing: a longer print…  I've tested this, having printed some of the parts in multiple layer heights.  It makes no difference.&nbsp;Anyway, happy printing and I hope you enjoy making this hammer!

This is the “easier to print” profile, which does the print on 3 separate plates. You probably want to break the print up and this is how I did it:<ul><li>hammer</li><li>decorative plates</li><li>handles and other cylinders</li></ul>Each item already has infill density set for it and the supports have been very carefully added. The supports for the Hammer look a bit crazy but:<ul><li>the come off really easily</li><li>They are required to hold up the bottom edge of the hammer.</li></ul>You should find that the handle connector should fit slightly loosely into the top and bottom handles. Feel free to increase/decrease its size by .5% either way to make the fit more/less snug.&nbsp;I will also upload the “single print profile” and you can do that if you're feeling lucky :-)&nbsp;This has been printed on a P1S, so I can't vouch for this on other Bambu printers (but I can't see why it wouldn't work as they're basically the same).

Mjölnir Thor Hammer

This is a full size Mjolnir. Yes, full size. It's big. It takes about 600g of filament and around 19 hours to print, even on a P1S.&nbsp;It prints really, really well. I've simplified the model so it's basically a full hammer, a top and bottom handle (and a pommel) and then then some easily glued in plates for the hammer head. It's a no-brainer to assemble but it looks amazing.&nbsp;How have I got a full size Thors Hammer onto a single plate? Lots and lots of model editing and a lot of work getting supports set up properly. I've also spent a long time arranging the model so it fits on the plate and prints well.&nbsp;This hammer is big. It feels heavy when you hold it and it really looks something. I've made 4 of them and given 2 as gifts. I've made one of these on the P1S and the print quality is just incredible.&nbsp;&nbsp;
