Description

I adjusted the tolerances and size so this awesome model works at 300% scaled to original. I have not printed it bigger than that. Looking at the preview, going to 400% will probably still work.

Bed slingers will need 2 days; CoreXY needs around 10 hours. Both use 300-400g of PLA.

the print came out nicely, but I couldn’t break the supports to get it working. the bottom ring now spins freely and nothing happens.

Amazing model. It really shows off what a 3D printer can do.

That 3mf is still available. You have to download it directly from the raw files. It cannot be added as a print profile because it was generated using Orca. Click on raw files and that other profile is available from that menu.

There are tab on the bottom that lock the inner/iris/outer sections for printing. Snip those flush to the outer/inner surface of each. Thats the most common issue. The first layer going wonky fusing those parts. The next most common is bridging issues. If you have the ability, calibrate your filament using Ocra's calibration menu to get that brand tuned in. Once the print finishes and you have some movement, lubricate the iris with a plastic safe lubricant. It can take a few cycles to get everything freely moving.
