It needs little explanation what the purpose of this pill capsule is.

The capsule has 4 compartments that are easy to fill and empty by turning the different rings. The rings lock in place when closed.

If you have to take pill(s) four times a day, use as shown in the photo.

If you only have to take pills at 2 times, you can provide the capsule with 2 sets of rings and thus create a twice-daily capsule. With 1 moment a day, print 4 applicable rings and you have a capsule to last for 4 days.

Printing:

Use tree support for all parts. I printed with 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layerheight.

Use 2 colors. If you want to print everything on 1 bed with color change(s), print both high parts last and place the last one behind the other. In this way, all parts can be printed with 1 plate.

In case you need many or very big pills: the capsule can be scaled up to about 125% without endangering the correct functioning of the locking mechanism. Above that, it may be needed to scale the rings slightly smaller in diameter (not height).

Assembly:

First place the 4 rings on the 2 parts. Ensure they are arranged and positioned the right way!

Now glue both parts together with some Superglue or other good glue. The square shape makes positioning easy.
