Description

a revision of my giant gyro fidget.

modified the tolerances on the larger rings as the was potential for the outer rings to come apart.

not suitable for a1 mini. uses 90% of the larger built plate.

I would advise not to scLe down as you could affect tolerances and print may fuse together.

about 300g of filament

Hmm. Interesting. I’ve personally printed 5. Can I ask what printer and are you resizing at all?

first 3 no resize. 4th attempt was as large as i could get on my x1c. still failed.

Printed well, did struggle separating the rings but I got there. The stand is not deep enough to support the design well. I did enjoy the challenge overall. Thank you very kindly for the wonderful design

Thanks for feedback. I’ve personally not had an issue with the stand apart from maybe needing some rubber feet to stop it sliding. ill be releasing the gen 2 giant giro later today. I’ve re-build, changed a few bits. So hopefully will be better.

Awesome concept but it seems it has some issues. The "spinner pegs" don't seem to be deep enough as the pieces slip out easily when spinning. Also had an issue where the bottom layer stuck to the build plate. Never had this issue before, it almost seems like the bottom layer by default isn't thick enough.
