***Use only TPU to prevent damaged blade***

Silhoutte Cameo 3 cutting TPU strip replacement.

My Cameo 3 stopped cutting well and I narrowed the problem down to a worn out cutting strip. They sell the strips for $10 for one 13 inch piece, so instead I decided to design my own and save that $10.

My settings:

• I used 85A Generic TPU but Used the Bambu TPU 95A HF profile(this seems to work with most TPU FYI)
• .08mm Extra fine @BBL A1
• Arachne Walls
• Order of walls > outer/inner (makes outer edge cleaner)
• 999 walls
• Top Pattern Concentric
• Bottom Pattern Concentric
• Angled corner to corner on plate to fit( i made it 13" I think original is 13.4" but it doesnt even cut that far over so 13" works)

Instructions:

This piece is very thin .4 mm so it doesnt bind up the cutting mat.

Take the strip there may be some burrs or blobs on top side. I found taking an old shaving razor over it a few times knocks the blobs off pretty well(see pics)

After blobs are smoothed youcan add an adhesive, I use an Elmers Dot Runner (see pics) and simply roll it over the vinyl a few times to give it some stickyness, then apply per silhoutte instructions found online.
