Description

Here is a system to store filament that is 100% 3d printable. NO HARDWARE REQUIRED!

Most of what you see to build this is being provided here. You can build a complete system using what is provided.

However, additional options are available on my Ponderings3d Patreon.

Why are you apologizing to me for how you feel? If it is not practical for you then don't print it. This is not for storing filament. Stacking it in racks would make more sense for that purpose. This allows the user to stock a variety of materials while making it quick and easy to find and access those materials when they are needed. One shelf is not going to hold just one roll of filament. It is going to hold as many rolls that are rotated through the shelf over the lifetime of that shelf. For some that may be a small number and for others it could be a very large number. For me, it is worth it to be able to quickly locate what I need and get it to my printer without having to dig through stacks of filament trying to find the right material (PLA, ABS,PETG, etc), right variation (silk, matte, sparkle, marble, wood, glow in the dark, etc) and color (single color, dual color, gradient, etc).

Thank you for the compliments. I was wondering if anyone was going to recognize what the supports were.

So I found this, it looks good, but, when I downloaded the file on here, not from your patreon page, it only has the main unit, the stabilizers you show and say to print are missing, was this intentional or did something get deleted, or are you only able to get them on your patreon page?

I am new to posting on Maker World and I am sure I have done something wrong. I did post it again here https://makerworld.com/en/models/445519#profileId-352009

What are the little depressions on the inside corners for?

They were put there because I intend to design a gate that will hold labels. Labels for material type, color, brand, or what ever the user deems useful. The gate will be held by the divots.
