Description

This proves the X1C can create strings 74F and the filament had not been dried. The RH at the time of the test was 44% and the filament had been loaded on the machine for about a week. The filament was Elegoo Matte PLA.

The strings were created in Fusion 360 at a length greater than the rim and trimmed to the rim. The string width in fusion was .42mm and height was .15mm. I had tried a lower width but Bambu failed to produce a string when slicing. The Y axis only was expanded in the slicer by 275%. from the stl

It works on X strings running on X axis also. I didn't try an XY. There are actually 2 passes on every string. The string only goes to the inner circumference of the circle and not to the exterior. i had hoped the slicer would run it to the exterior as it was modeled to give a stronger bond IMO. It is quite strong. If you squeeze the sides you can pluck it like a stringed instrument till you destroy it.
