Description

Propeller protection for the right/left side of the DJI Avata 2.

By increasing/reducing the number of walls in the slicer, the hardness can be determined, 0 floors/ceilings/infill.

! The model is only displayed correctly in the preview window after slicing.

Printed in PETG, other filaments not yet tested.

!!! INFO!!! I was only able to carry out a test flight with the model late; unfortunately, as a beginner, I cannot assess whether the flight characteristics will be negatively affected. In normal and sport modes as well as maneuvers with Easy Acro, the model sticks to the Avata 2, but a part came off when flying through bushes. Here I will make some improvements to the holding force of the model on the drone. As an early solution, I additionally secured the protection to the drone with thin double-sided adhesive tape. The Avata still fit in my transport bag even with the protection installed. - As soon as the model is updated I will delete this information.

I wish you a good flight

The bumper cover was printed very neatly. However, there is some inconvenience in attaching and detaching it. It is difficult to remove from the protective cover (red), so it is removed along with the protective cover.

Removing the cover can be a bit tricky the first few times, it's best to push/press to one side so the other should come loose and it can be swung out to the front.

Awesome and easy print. I hope it will not restrict the flight characteristics.I also found out that you may not need your gimbal bumper at all as the prop guard also provides a distance to the wall. Again: Thanks for your work. :)

but it already has prop guards.. extra weight for no good reason.

My prop guard broke and had to get it replaced. If this can be a sacrificial piece it's worth it 100%.

Read the description. Set the top/bottom/infill to 0 and slice it, then you will have the same model like in the pictures from him.

Should be displayed correctly after slicing, zero floors - ceilings - infill. Thanks for the comment, I'll include it in the description

When I download the STL file, there is only the right part. If I print two of these, can I use them on both sides?

No, the other side has to be mirrored in the slicer

I keep getting print failure every time on my X1C. I tried more than 10 time... =( I was really looking forward to trying these on my Avata 2.

Is the problem perhaps caused by the lidar sensor? I printed the models on the A1 mini and p1p and therefore unfortunately can't say anything more specific about troubleshooting on the x1c. Is printing possible without a lidar sensor? Alternatively, I would try printing with PLA if it is due to the filament
