Struggling with aligning the build plates on your 3D printers? I faced the same issue and designed these alignment tools to easily position the magnetic plate of my printer during reinstallation.

These aligners are printed with PETG, making them resistant to build plate temperatures of around 80°C. Ideal for those who primarily print in PLA like me. They’re attached with 3M double-sided tape, which can handle temperatures up to 150°C, ensuring a secure and heat-resistant bond.

I’ve been using these aligners for a few weeks on printers that run all day without any issues.

Works well with Kingroon KP3s and Sovol SV06

There are two models available: a flat model and a corner model. I personally prefer the flat model that sits at the back of the plate due to its minimalist look. However, the corner aligners also provide a precise fit if that’s what you’re after.

Print Settings:

• Material: PETG or ABS
• Nozzle: 0.6mm
• Layer Height: 0.2mm
• Support: None
• Walls: 2
• Infill: 20% rectilinear
• Brim: None

Installation:

Once printed, simply attach some high-temperature-resistant double-sided tape and stick the aligners to your desired area on the build plate.
