Description

Add fun to the baby driving time with this Baby Cab trip counter. It’s also meant to help prevent accidents where babies are left inside cars (read more in the note below). Print one for yourself or a friend who has a baby.

Keep it in a convenient spot such as the car door pocket, or if there is a suitable spot on the dashboard that’s easy to reach, attached it with strong double-side adhesive tape or strip. After each trip is over, turn the dial to increase the trip count by 1.

Important Note: Turn the dial at the end of the trip, not at the start. By forming a habit of turning the dial every time after one reaches the destination and stops the car, it helps to avoid forgetting that the baby is in the car.

Some may say that will never happen to them, but those that had that happened to them probably said the same to themselves when they heard this kind of tragedies on the news every summer. One never knows when severe sleep deprivation or some other factors may lead to going about mindlessly in “autopilot” mode.

Easily printed with PETG without support. PETA is recommended over PLA because in the summer the temperature inside the car can reach high enough to soften and deform PLA. Print profile is provided.

Can also be printed with small printers such as Bambu Lab A1 mini.

Easy to assemble and use. Instruction is provided for download.

WARNING: This is not a toy. Please do not hand it to the baby to play and always keep it out of the reach of the baby. The parts can break and become choking hazard.

P.S. Don’t forget to take a photo of the final trip count. When the baby becomes a teenager and starts talking back, show the photo :)
