Good idea…. I made these for my MACS both the desktops and the notebooks. I use silicone adhesive and a toothpick to attach them so at a later time they can eaisly be removed Thanks great idea.

Thanks, I read that warning from Apple a while back too. I've used "tape" on all my cameras when not in use, this print is VERY THIN and perfect, it fits nicely. I've tested it on several different models and it works great.

This is a good model, and although this did not stick well enough for me, it was well made and others had success with it, so that was definitely my fault.

Thanks for the comment, but the sided which you apply the double sided tape is the side facing upwards. So even if you use textured PEI plate, this would not interfere with that. Or did I misunderstood you?

Sorry about that, that was my fault because my tape did not stick well enough for what I needed it for, so I tried to use glue, and that did not work. I’ll adjust my rating as this was an issue specific to me. I think this is a great model, and you were right, this had nothing to do with the type of bed, I must have mistaken something or done something wrong.

I was trying to help with the issue you have, if you still need troubleshooting, send me the photos of your prints on both side and where you want to stick on the laptop. I might be able to help as this had been on 5 laptops in my family for over a year (it a model I designed around 2018.)

Great design and printed really well. Found my dump laptop has some extra sensors up there so I'll probably reprint it a little longer. Glad I found this model though.
