Description

Universal car phone holder, everything is printed on a single plate, unless you want to make the clamp in PETG.

I suggest making the clamp out of PETG because in PLA, it deteriorates very quickly and stops working.

Ultra-simple assembly, no screws to use, only an elastic band.

Feel free to give me feedback on the use and printing of the holder.

Too cool to see one printed! Thank you so much! I recommend printing the V2 profile, which is better in terms of clips. Really sorry about the supports, I've printed several on my end and haven't broken any yet. Don't hesitate to share a new profile if you find better settings! :D

Will do! I think I was to fast and the pla I used is brittle. After I took my time with the second piece it worked like a charm. I printed the adapter in PETG to be more resistant and it fits fine in my car! thanks for the design!

I really like the mechanics on this except I would maybe change the tension direction of the elastic so that the holder is constantly clamping rather than open that way you know the phone is secure..other than that great print .

Thank you very much for your feedback! I have been using it for 2 weeks, the phone holds up well with its own weight, I no longer have a problem with the clamp when it is made of PLA, it comes off easily after a moment, I advise you instead to making PETG is better.

I advise you to print the V2 hook in PETG, which is stronger

I bought an old car with no sat nav, the night before pick up I realised I had no way to mount a phone for maps this printed super fast, after stealing a hair band from the wife I was ready to go. very nice design, some supports maybe where not necessary but it is of little concern, better to be safe than sorry👍

Honestly, it's a fantastic design with one minor design flaw. Most of us use popsockets or other magsafe compatible devices on our phones, and this holder isn't compatible. I took the liberty of designing in a recess for the popsocket, which made it work. If this was originally incorporated i'd have given it a 5/5!

Thank you very much for the feedback and the rating! Do you have a picture of your final product? Besides creating a notch all along, I don't see how to make it compatible with all phones with popsockets.

il modello non è troppo aderente al telefono, ma la meccanica è carina

What's the difference between the v1 and v2?

The rear clamp is stronger, and clip mounting is easier with less risk of breakage
