Description

I thought I'd get on it in advance before the show came out because once it does, every single person will be making something like this to add on here so I thought, why not beat em lol This one was one of the more difficult designs I've made and it took a very long time to finish. I hope you enjoy!

Settings: The print profile settings are setup specifically for the frontplate only so you won't have wisps or colors bleed into each other or have those random dots of a darker color that you can only see when you get a light behind it. These are the best settings I've found to take care of that out of the 1000s of lamps I've printed. When going to print the backplate, be sure to change the filament settings. You'll want to change the first layer and other layers temps back to 220 on both. Then you can choose to take off retraction and zhop but it won't mess with the quality either way.

It would be cool if you could just have a flat plate of this image for printing too as like the image but do not want a lightbox. I tried to cut it myself and make but the print did not come out that great because only 3 layers and then 4th layer was solid black the way the painting worked. I got color bleed through that way and not the same pop as if could get a little thicker on colors or just skip the one layer of pure black.

Scale the z axis up an insane amount and then cut it. It'll make that front thicker.

Replying to @Codyinbody3 :
I just tried that but maybe I made the cut in wrong place as when I went to paint it only did front and back as 2 different things instead of individual elements in design. Upon doing the cut too, it had 53k non-manifold edges so took a while to repair that. I might give it a go again later. Appreciate that you replied with the idea.

Just added a profile with a flat version. Took a while to figure it out, but basically cut it and then color each individual object (not painting). Great model and really fun cartoon!
