Description

Note: There is now a V2 of this model https://makerworld.com/en/models/458322

I got so tired of poop jumping out while the nozzle was being cleaned so I created this Poop retainer and added a section. of A1 Nozzle wiper to the tail end of the process.. no more wisps!

This screws into place using the existing screws either side of the purge chute.

Cut a 3x3 square of A1 Filament wiper (I suggest cutting the rounded end row off first so you have a nicely square part, you'll get 12 pieces from the linked part) https://store.bambulab.com/collections/spare-parts-for-a1-series/products/heatbed-nozzle-wiper-a1

I printed the main part with PETG using PLA as support for a super clean interface, see the third image for how to remove the support from the place where the A1 Filament wiper.

I'm using a 3rd party, but I will check with the original later if it fits properly. I'm using a p1s

The new Profile with the fix for P1S prints for me, but splits afterwards as shown in the pictures. I am using Bambu PETG Basic with default Settings. For now I am using the one I printed of the old Profile and cut the Parts away that collide with the Build Plate. Still a great Project!

FYI, it's because you're not purging enough of the interface material and it's being mixed into the first new layer. I purge 700 minimum going from PLA to PETG and PETG to PLA to make sure it doesn't end up with a weak layer like this.

This was likely a one off issue with your filament, not the print profile, I have updated the listing to not be compatible with the P1S as I don't have a P1S to test on myself.

Did a print without changing filament. No problems with this Splitting, @mcmancuso seems to be spot on with the reason. Thanks for the feedback. Printing with P1S should be fine!

I had the same issue with „hitting the edge“ so I’ve cutted the right corner away and now it is fine for me. As you can see on the photos there is enough space in between now.

I'm getting this error, I have to adjust the build plate :(

that error sounds more like a problem with your build plate.. your photo of wiper and build plate is not clear enough to see any contact. can you get a clearer photo please?

If you had this on a P1S I've just updated the geometry in the print profile to better suit P1S

Finally got around to installing. Probably used too much superglue. Also my wiper seems to be different than all the others I have seen, must be a new model. So far so good. Thanks!

The part is a good idea since i like to keep the original wiper adding a1 wiper, unfotunately as others said before, the corner of the wiper base will catch the buildplate on some machines. I filed the corner down and it will work, but utimately i'm going to redesin my own to eliminate that problem. Apart from that, the speeds in the print profile where a bit too much for my prusament PETG wich doesn't like to be printed over 200mm/s and the purge volume between PLA and PETG was to low for me too.

I encourage you to only use the Designer approved profile, this print profile is not compatible with P1S

At the moment of printing there was only 1 print profile aviable so i guess it was the right one. As far as my research on all the similar models on MakerWorld is showing, there are no similar models to date that work with the P1S without scraping the plate. This one works after a bit of filing but i will definitely make my own since i realize just now that the a1 wiper seems to be placed too low to be effective enough

by the way, as i said the designer profile was giving a bad quality part with my materials and i resliced myself wich resulted in a far better and precisely sized part.

I'm on an X1C with the textured PEI plate. The build plate hits this, so it's not functional. By the way, I tried to rate this after my print in Bambu Studio, but it fails.

This is the first report of this for an X1C, when was your X1C made? and is your build plate a Bambu made one?
