Universal Gp Mount

Here is the Hopefully Universal vent Phone mount ive been working on. I call it the GP Mount. It consists of a rack and pinion mechanism that adjusts the phone to where you want it.

I also was not wanting to find the PROPER Rubber band and go to the store and grab some screws or look thru a junk drawer. Why not print it.

1. The print Profile is set to the infill of 40%. Any lower and it may cause the threads to not appear on screw. Supports are to the build plate, sometimes ive seen it build to the Phone holder threads, watch for this!
2. Also While placing/taking off. It seems tricky but by sliding the vent cover to be adjusted to the sky and then taking the mount out worked a lot better for me.
3. WOULD PRINT IN BETTER MATERIAL FOR SUN!!! PETG, CF:D so it doesnt melt like frosty the snowman….

1. Once Printed and the supports are taken off, slide both racks into the slot fully.
2. Add the gear into both racks with them fully closed.
3. Tighten the screw till it moves freely but snug.
4. Bring to the car, add phone Then fully tighten screw and enjoy this hand free car accessory!
