Description

I really like playing board games, but what I like even more since owning a Bambulab printer is using 3D printing to make inserts for my favorite board games.

I recently bought a new game : Coffee Rush, where you have to manage coffee orders as quickly as possible to gain points, while other players try to do the same (it's a really fun game, reminds me a lot of Overcooked without the cooperative side).

A few pieces did not have any nice spot to be in the box and unfortunately I did not manage to find existing inserts.

So, I made my own and I learned lot in the process.

I made two different inserts that fit under the two ingredients boxes.

One is used to store the rush coins and the open/closed token, the second for the player tokens & upgrades tokens.

A few notes before printing :

  • I own the french version of the game, but I don't think other versions should be different, if it is the case, I would happy to share the f360 file.
  • I was surprised to find that the “player tokens” don't have all the same size, so for some of them it will be a tight fit and for others they might slip. I did not want to make custom inserts for all of them. It won't be an issue because, the ingredients boxes go on top of my inserts blocking the pieces from going anywhere.
  • I designed my inserts so the pieces stay in place but without needing force to get them out, but it might change with how tuned is your printer.

I would love to have your feedback and see your prints ! Don't hesitate if you have any questions or requests :)
