I've been making some decorative light switch covers using HueForge, but I got a decorative baseplate for my birthday so I decided to try that out on some switch covers. It is actually really nice and easy to print these upside down on the plate as you can do the whole thing at once and you don't need to glue the back on afterwards.
I had mostly been doing my switch covers in Single Mid sizes, but for this posting you can find Single, Double, and Triple in Standard (most homes have this), Mid, or Jumbo sizes! Lots of choices. I tend to use Mid sized just to make sure everything gets covered behind it, like mis-painting or holes cut a little too big.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Changing out a switch plate/cover can be dangerous, turn off power to the switch before removing and replacing the cover.
I wrote a tutorial on Instructables talking about how I designed it using Tinkercad: https://www.instructables.com/3D-Print-Light-Switch-Covers
Black (single in picture) : Monotonic
Black (picture with 2 black switch covers) : Hilbert Curve
Pinks : Concentric (actually did this one on accident, turned out okay tho)
Purples : Octagram Spiral
Seafoamish and White : Archimedean Chord
I think Octagram Spiral is my favorite so that is what is in the Print Profile. Feel free to change the BOTTOM SURFACE PATTERN if you want to try something else!
