Description

Summary

Ergonomic handle for trapezoid utility blades. Magnetic saftey cap. Uses two M3x10 bolts and nuts and two 6X3 magnets.

Print Settings

PLA, Smooth Plate, 0.4 Nozzle, 0.2 Layers, 5 Wall Looops, 5 Top/Bottom Shell Layers, 20% Cubic Infill, Auto Tree Support (supports blocked for uppermost hole and inside blade area).

Assembly

After printing and removing supports. Use super glue (CA glue) to glue the magnets in place. Be sure to check polarity before gluing together.

Install regular trapezoid style utility blade and the M3x10 machine screws and nuts. I glued the nuts in place to make blade changes easier in the future.

Please upload a make/review and check out my other models. Enjoy!

modified it to fit on a pole. Unfortunately, the tolerances were too tight for the blades I use.

Print quality not perfect due to curved surfaces and support.
