Tired of flimsy holders that you can't trust to handle the weight of your sweet looking gear? Look no further! This **SUPER strong** helmet holder is engineered to keep your helmet secure and accessible. Whether it's a motorcycle helmet, a racecar helmet or just a bicycle helmet, this holder ensures your prized possession is showcased with style.

The holder's design allows for complete freedom in how you present your helmet, just by tilting and rotating it how you want it to be displayed.

Designed with durability in mind, the holder can support more than just helmets. Hang your jacket with confidence, knowing that the holder won't let you down.

DISCLAIMER: While the holder is incredibly strong, it's designed specifically for helmets.
For optimal safety, I advise using it only for its intended purpose. Holding helmets…
Use ABS/ASA or PETG to be absolutely sure that it holds up in the long run. There shouldn't be a problem with using PLA if no direct sunlight hits it so on an so fourth, but i wouldn't suggest it.

V1 Pros:
- Only uses 2 strong screws
- Looks cool with gear on
- Easy to print

V1 Cons:
- To some it might look like a um… a um… you know what…

V2 Pros:
- Only uses 2 strong screws
- Looks EVEN COOLER with gear on
- Easy to print
- Has a key hook

V2 Cons:
- To some it still might look like a um… a um… hehe…
- Jealous friends with helmets

Very loose fit on these parts, use glue.

The fit should be tight. I've only tested the fit with PLA though. So maybe that's the reason for a slight deviation in tolerances. Good to know. :) Maybe i should release versions of the ball with different tolerances so that people can choose how loose/tight they want it.

The V2 came out 07/05-2024 :) You can find it under the V2 folder. To answer your questions regarding the style inserts and key hook. Some people have managed to make them fit on the V1 by cutting off the locking tabs. The key hook fits both the V1 and V2 :)

just wondering what’s the best size of screws to use if anyone has multiple which screws they found best for the job

It's designed with a 5mm hole. But you can go down in thickness and overall size depending on the mounting surface. Mine is installed on a brick wall, so i used some chonky 5mm screws with wall anchors. I wanted to be absolutely sure that it never falls down. :) So in general my advise would be to use thick screws if possible. Better safe then sorry i guess. :D

Thank you so much for that info. Also is version 2 more study than 1 structurally or is it just aesthetic based with the key hook ?

Equally as sturdy. :) Both models a designed to be very strong. The only things that differentiates between V1 and V2 are the following: - Easier mounting thanks to the holes through the front part of the wall mount - Better designed holes for a better look (No more steep overhangs anywhere in any of the models) - Style inserts that let's you customize the look of the wall mount to suit the style or color scheme you want
