Why?

I saw a video about the awesome Jointlocker lighter+joint case from Another Room, but I didn't like the size of it. I decided to design my own version with a little twist. It features storage for a big joint (about 120mm length and 15mm diameter). The wings Another Room created to secure the Bic lighter was clever, so I added it to my design. Now I had this big case with a lot of unused space below the lighter. The small stash was born! It's not the biggest room, but you could stash some filters for example. Check the second photo for the measurements.

UPDATE Version 1.1

Some people had issues with opening the door the first time. I made the length of the opening tip larger and opened the door a bit, so you will be 100% able to open it. I also gave it more clearance, so issues where the mechanism is too fused shouldn't be a problem anymore.

This case is for the standard Bic.

After printing:

The littlee door is print in place, you have to gently pry it open. I used a butterknife - worked like a charm. Inside is a little bit support, which breaks of easily.

If you have any suggestions for a V2, I am open for it.

new Version is alot more difficult to Open at least for me and it dont Print with the door Open Like you pictures Maybe something went wrong ? i Printed 4 already and today the new one Had me fighting Almost broke it

I think you might be right. You're using the mini version? I think I uploaded the wrong profile for mini. Please try to download the P1/X1 profile and just switch in the slicer to your printer. It should work as intended. And The door should be open like on the photo. If you're on mobile only, I will upload it hopefully later, don't know when im home yet.

really love the design, the only problems I see is that opening the lid is hard if you don't have nails. nice fit and no problems printing whitout supports, perfect for my CBD :P

I printed this with the A1 profile but broke the door when opening it, please make a redesign on the door hinge or maybe the support inside? i went gentle and used a dull knife to slowly pry the door but when it finally opened the door cracked into 3 pieces. i will reprint if it gets redesign for easier printing

I am sorry to hear that. Somehow the support got unchecked in the A1 mini file. The new profile is stuck on "Verifying", but I will confirm it to you after double checking.
