Description

Introducing this nifty cupholder organizer! Remember those times where you're at a gas station and can't find the right coins because they are scattered around your car? Well this organizer is the solution for you! Fits into most car cupholders, and can hold all American coins, as well as credit cards, cash, and pens for all your needs.

Features:

  • Prints relatively fast, and doesn't use too much filament
  • Holds quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies
  • 3 slots to hold pens
  • A wide slot to hold credit cards, business cards, punch cards for your favorite restaurants, and more!
  • A fourth slot to hold rolled up cash or other small objects

Inspired by Coin Organizer for Car Cup Holder by joshuatparr on Thingiverse. However, this is not a remix, it is my own design made in OnShape.

Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

I love this design, been using it since I found it on thingiverse a while back. Any chance you could make an edit and put two pen holes that fit a pilot G2 ink style pen instead of the three (it has a small grip making it slightly thicker)? Either way, I like this design more than the original from a while back.

Hey there! I can definitely do that! Do you know roughly the max diameter of the pen so that I can use it in the CAD? If not, I could probably find the dimensions online. I'm glad you like the model, and I hope to have to new one up soon!

Based on this website jetpens.com it says 11.5 mm. Sounds good, thank you! I will test print that one once it is uploaded.

I'm sorry but a great concept needs a lot of work. At least in my '24 Chevy Equinox LT, it was too tight, you cant reach in and get the coins, youd have to pull it all the way out to get the coins and they grab the cup holder in my car.

it is a great idea!!!!. I love organization. was / is it the design intent to be able to remove the coins with the model seated or maybe we’re supposed to remove it. maybe a small pull tab to easily remove it??

The print quality was excellent and the product is quite useful. However, I have a suggestion for improving the design. The compartment for bills is too deep, which makes it difficult to retrieve money once it’s pushed in, given the limited space. A shallower bill storage would make it more accessible while still keeping everything tidy. Additionally, tightening the space for coins would prevent them from rattling around. These adjustments would perfect an already well-thought-out design.

Is there any plan to add support for Canadian coins?

Love the design, do you think you could do one with Canadian coin sizes too? Diameters: 10c = 18.03 mm 25c = 23.88 mm 50c = 27.13 mm $1 = 26.5 mm $2 = 28 mm Could probably group $1 and 50c into one size since your model supports 4!
