- Infill: 10% for a solid yet economical print (infill will print as a single line as tickness is set accordingly)
- Supports: Just as file provided for safety and stability
Aesthetic Tips:
- For a more authentic metallic look, printing with metal powder-infused filament (such as bronze, silver, or gold-filled filament) is recommended. This not only gives the coins a realistic metal appearance but also adds a weighty feel to them.
Post-Processing Tips:
- For Metal Powder-Infused Filament Prints:
- After printing, it is advisable to polish the surface of the coins with a soft cloth or a polishing machine to enhance the metallic shine. Also, you can use a Steel Wool to scratch sthe surface and let the metal shine.
- Applying a light coat of metal wax can also protect the color and sheen of the coins.
- For those looking to further emulate a metal cast finish, consider using a black wash to fill the deeper details, which can then be wiped off the higher surfaces, leaving a contrast that highlights the intricate designs (ONLY IF HIGHLY POLISHED, otherwhise will darken everything).
