Description

This cross was originally created as a laser cut file for layered wood, so I decided to give it a burst of color with 3d printing! It consists of 7 layers with a color change each layer. I made mine with 7 different silk PLA filaments with my 1 AMS. Color change 5-7 I set to AMS 1, 2, and 3 again and swapped the filament after the first cycle was done. I also integrated a keyhole hanger in the back for easy hanging.

I have ams, will this print automatically pause when I need to change the last 3 filament colors?

Assuming AMS slot color 1 is 1st layer color and color 7 is top layer color, in the slicer, color layer 5 same as 1, layer 6 same as 2, and layer 7 same as 3. After first color layer finishes and is print from ams slot 2, swap the 1st color with 5th and so on with colors 6 and 7. You would set the pauses if you didn't have an AMS.
