These blastgates were developed for HT tubes with diameters of 40 mm and 50 mm. The blastgates are switched with the WS-MG996R servo. For this you need a controller like the one from Frohnix Bastelbude (Frank Frohnert). Unfortunately, this controller is no longer available.

The printed parts are simply screwed together with wood screws.

3 pieces 4x20mm and 4 pieces 3x12mm for the servo.

A 608 ball bearing and of course the servo are also required.

To integrate the blastgates into a pipe system, simply saw through the pipe at the correct point and glue it flush into the holes with PVC glue before assembly. Assembly is carried out as shown in the pictures.

I would only press on the small servo adapter once the servo has been connected to the controller to ensure the correct position.

An M4 screw with 2 nuts can be locked into the free hole beside the servo if necessary.

You can screw several Blastgates onto a board and then attach it to the wall. There are holes for this.

The correct suction direction is marked with an arrow. (Arrow points in the direction of the vacuum cleaner)

Blastgate parts for reducing the pipe diameter are on pressure plates 3 and 4.

Once from 50mm to 40mm and once from 40mm to 50mm.

If necessary, I could also construct a 110mm version, but this would be a lot larger.

Diese Blastgates wurden für HT-Rohre mit Durchmesser 40mm und 50 mm entwickelt. Die Blastgates werden mit dem Servo WS-MG996R geschaltet. Dafür braucht man noch eine Steuerung wie die von Frohnix Bastelbude (Frank Frohnert). Leider gibts die Steuerung im Moment nicht mehr.

Die gedruckten Teile werden einfach mit Holzschrauben verschraubt.

Es wird noch ein Kugellager 608 benötigt und natürlich der Servo.

Um die Blastgates in ein Rohrsystem einzubinden einfach das Rohr an der richtigen Stelle durchsägen und mit PVC-Kleber vor dem Zusammenbau bündig in die Bohrungen einkleben. Der Zusammenbau erfolgt wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist.

Den kleinen Servoadapter würde ich erst aufpressen, wenn der Servo mal am Controller angeschlossen war um die richtige Lage zu erwischen. In das freie Loch beim Servo kann eine M4 Schraube mit 2 Muttern gekontert werden, falls nötig.

Man kann mehrere Blastgates auf ein Brett schrauben und das dann an der Wand anbringen. Dafür gibt es Bohrungen.

Die richtige Saugrichtung ist mit einem Pfeil markiert. (Pfeil zeigt Richtung Staubauger)

Auf Druckplatte 3 und 4 sind Blastgate-Teile für eine Reduktion des Rohrdurchmessers.

Einmal von 50mm auf 40mm und einmal von 40mm auf 50mm.

Falls nötig könnte ich auch noch eine 110mm Version konstruieren, die wird dann allerdings einiges grösser.
