This PTFE Tube Guard protects the print head tube from dragging on the top glass causing premature wear. It is extremely light and the point creates very little drag on the glass.

Note:

  • This item is very small and glue on print bed is required to achieve a successful print.
  • For a successful print I recommend the use one of my Print Profiles with the specified filament.
  • This snaps on the PTFE Tube. Locate it where the tube hits the glass and verify this location by moving the print head across both X and Y range.
  • The point of the guard is designed to touch the glass. This point is designed to present minimal resistance.
  • If you find it rotating you can use glue to secure it to the PTFE tube.
