This is a remix of the Hovalin open-source violin from Hovalabs. Due to the size limitations of the Bambu X1C, you can't print a whole body, and the sectioning of the body into 3 pieces by Hovalin was causing issues where the f-hole seams met, so I merged two pieces of the body to get a better print. Once put together, the default bridge didn't allow the strings to clear the fingerboard, so I got the bridge remix from BV3D (Bryan Vines) and put it in my remix. This should be all you need to get a playable violin.
You will need the following parts to complete assembly:
You will also need a bow, case, and rosin - but I'll leave that to you. My son already had those things.
The complete Hovalin Project Page has additional information and instructions.
I am still experimenting with different materials and print settings. This first profile is solid infill with PLA; our first prototype was a bit fragile with the Hovalin-recommended settings and ABS.
