The original works fine but with all the vibrations on the machine I would get a little worried it might shake it's way free. I've added a little tab that fits nicely into the lip of the lid and that holds it really firmly.
I've also used this to prop open the AMS for a weird spool that was shifting around too much and barely rubbing the top.

Great design and an easy print. Printed with a brim just in case but these Bambu machines are phenomenal.
Has been working fine with the AMS on top, though your mileage may vary.
