I am a middle school science and engineering/design teacher. One of the projects I had my students complete was to make cup converters for teachers at the school. They had to find teachers who had cups that didn't fit in their normal car cup holders and then design a converter that would fit the desired cup size. This student went above and beyond and created a little compartment accessible by a screw that could be used to store various objects (demonstrated with a dollar bill).
