V2 with better threads now available!

This model is inspired by the “Jointlocker”, originally available on: (https://anotherroom.io)

YT-Video about the topic from “Slant 3D” : (The 3D Printed Product Urban Outfitters Sold Out 4 Times | Jointlockers)

I really liked the idea “Slant 3D” had, and regarding the weed legalization in germany I wanted one for myself.

Unfortunately there are only options for “bic lighters” and not for “clipper lighters”.

Since I prefer the clipper lighters I tried to design one myself.

Please note: This model is by no means perfect, but it works really good for me personally :)

Hole is big enough for a standard cigarette.

I would advise to try the loose one first. If it's to loose, then try the tighter one.

The first screw on of the cap might be a bit weird/hard, but afterwards it should thread perfectly!

→ Since every clipper is a bit different in size, it is possible that for some the loose version is better and for others the tighter version!

Was printed with:

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • 10% Infill
  • 2 walls

Would love to get some feedback!

These "threads" are basically unusable, please consider redesigning the cap and tube. The single screw plane around the shaft and inside of the cap do not interact like threads on a bolt, they interfere with eachother and the opposing piece and strip off.

The cap could use a better closing mechanism The thread just worked 1 time, then it was damaged
