Remixed from RapidDave's original version to accept the Hakko FX-8801 Solder pen for plunging threaded inserts. https://makerworld.com/en/models/427206
You will notice in this version the cable runs parallel to the pen through a provided gap in the mount as the taper and the grip on the FX-8801 makes it kind of impossible to create a mount any other way without having it being too close to the hotend of the iron. And the DIN plug on these irons has a larger diameter than the iron itself.
You dont need to take out the screws/nuts every time you want to load this, just loop the cable on the butt of the iron and run it parallel to the body and feed the iron from the bottom of the mount.
You will need 2x20mm M4 cap screws and 2xM4 Nuts.
A cable clip has been included on the right hand side to keep the cable out of the way while using. You dont need much torque at all on the screws due to the very shallow taper and weight of the iron.
STEP and 3mf included.
