Description

Piranha Plant complete for plants (fake or real)

this model is a multipart design which means that you can print it in multicolor using your single extruder printer.

This model is immensely difficult to print due to the “lip” a challenge especially in 0.2mm nozzles!

A very nice looking thing! Thank you for that beautiful planter! Came out great with PLA and a 0.4 mm nozzle. I printed with a variable (what is the trick here) 0.16 mm layer height and that is much (!) faster than with the 0.2 mm nozzle. The print profile for that is published. A snap-fit for the leaves would be great so that no glue would be needed there. My son wanted many many colors - see below :-)

That was not that bad as it looks, because it changes the filament not so often. But a red bloom with white dots would be heavy, because it switches the filament in each layer 😢 That is why we did not print the "original" colours.

Replying to @Yopurinta :
make sense, the white and red would probably end up using more

This was my first model I had to glue together and it was simple and looks great. The pot lip is harder than you would think! consider the supports!

It turned out great! I had a near spaghetti moment on the pot lip but everything else was perfect even with a .4 nozzle.
