3D printing settings

For a Fantastic Look of the Piece:

We recommend printing the final layers of the model in a different color for an eye-catching visual appeal.

For Greater Stability of Pieces After Assembly:

To prevent pieces from moving once assembled, we suggest printing the initial layers in TPU so that the printed pieces won't slide. Alternatively, you can add a rubber adhesive sheet or anti-slip pads under the pieces.

Have you tried printing the roads upside down on an effects sheet to get that effect on the roadway?

Nice idea! Not yet. Maybe it will be cool but i'm not sure if it can help or not with the sliding. It can create air pockets but creases too. If you try let me know ;)

Sure, i'm not thinking that would fix the sliding, but if it's printed upside-down, the roadway will have that effect embeded once turned right-side up. Then, I could add a couple layers of TPU on the top for the sliding.

Another question...did you print the rest in PLA?

How do you connect the tracks?

There is not need to connect them. Just print the first layers in tpu or add some adhesive sheet under the pieces. They will stick without moving and you can put everything inside a box in a few seconds :)

What parts would be best to print for a starter setup?

I suggest you to start printing some straight pieces and some curves. Piece after piece you can decide what to print next. Probably it's the best way to proceed. In alternative you can try to move the pieces in in the slicer and see how much pieces are needed for the track you are creating

you should add holes in the connecting faces so you can add magnets to them so its magnetic and can still easily be packed away - but regardless this is awesome definitely elevates drinking games
