Description

I designed this modular phone/camera arm which you can clamp on every surface!

I included 3 different sized for the clamp (Pt1_)(30 mm/1,18 inch - 40 mm/1,57 inch - 50 mm/1,97 inch).

Clamping mechanism for phones (65mm-90mm) and tablets (140mm-240mm), TPU insert for using phones and tablets (9mm thick) without a case.

Pt1_Phone_Holder, Pt2_Phone_holder, TPU insert = Pt3_Phone_Holder:

Pt1_Tablet_Holder, Pt2_Tablet_holder, TPU insert = Pt3_Phone_Holder:

For full modularity I made different lengths for the arm (Pt3_) (50-100-150-200-250-300mm)

This camera tripod is not only made for smartphones but also for cameras and video lamps, using M6 or 1/4in thread you can screw them on. (Camera_Holder_Tripod)

I also made a cold shoe adapter (Cold_Shoe_Tripod) and different new knobs for the ¼ bolts and nuts (Pt6-1-4in_Tripod)

To join all the parts together I used DIN933 M8 bolts and DIN934M8 nuts, the bolts are mostly 30 mm long. For the camera holder I used DIN933 M6 bolts and DIN934 nuts.

For easy acces to the bolts I made some knobs in 4 sizes (see .3mf file).

Down here you can see some UPDATES for the camera arm (dd/mm/yyyy):

  • 08/05/2024: Wider knobs so it's easier to adjust (Pt6.4_M8_Tripod , Pt6.4_M6_Tripod , Pt6.4_1-4in_Tripod)
  • 11/05/2024: Tablet clamp (140mm-240mm)
¼ Thread camera holder and knobs

I love your design, but I am not able to identify this part for the camera. What name is it?

Sorry to have bothered. I installed Bamboo Labs and could gather the STL from there. The missing part is not included in the "only STL" download link.

I'm very sorry that I forgot that part to include in the STL list, it's now added as "Phone_Holder_Tripod". Thanks for reporting this :)

Works for Ender 3 with PLA and 0.4 nozzle? I'm new in this 3D print world @.@

Yes, that will work perfectly, my parts were also printed using PLA and a 0,4 mm nozzle. You will only need to remove supports from some of the parts with some pliers or sandpaper. After that the parts will fit together :)

This is a strange request, but could you possibly make a wrench so that I can turn the handles easier? I have weak hands :(

You mean something wider so you have more torque? I can do this one (light blue on photo) , it will be 40-60mm wide instead of 30 mm and maybe this formfactor will be easier to turn.

You can now download the new version called Pt6.4_M8 and Pt6.4_M6 as an STL and also in the updated 3MF file.

Why is this not full printable? In the video shows metal screws and nuts

I like to use real bolts which makes it sturdier than printed thread taht's why it's not fully printable. I want to be able to properly tighten all the bolts on a tripod so that everything is secure and cannot shift

I need a strong arm to hold a Pi Tablet for my CNC machine. I think this will work out!
