Description

A replacement parking brake handle for a John Deere lawnmower. I don't know the exact model bit it should be clear from the pictures whether it applies to yours. The photos also show the original damaged handle and the lever to which it attaches.

Prints without support. I've used 100% infill to give maximum strength.

The extra thickness of the handle, for added strength, where the screw hole passes through makes it tricky to install but it is possible with care. The original screw is no longer long enough so a suitable replacement is needed.

The profile is for an AMS printer as it uses two filaments, orange for the main part and black for the symbols on the top surface of the handle.

All of my levers on the right hand side completely faded from the sun, this is a life saver! Now I am on the hunt for files of the other 2 levers.

Well I designed this model simply for the farmer at the livery yard where I keep my horses. I didn't really expect anyone to find it useful as it's a rather niche application. I'm delighted that you found it useful. I'd offer to design the other handles you need but they're quite complex 3D shapes and I'd need to actually have the physical object in my hand to be able to measure it and then create the model in Fusion 360. Even then it sometimes takes a couple of iterations to iron out any shortcomings in the design and fit though surprisingly in this case the first one printed worked perfectly.
