Printed great! I used the separated models and scaled it up 200%. Printed with Inland wood PLA. used some Plastic Wood putty to fill in some gaps and rough edges, including the seam at the neck. minimal sanding, just for the putty. stained with an Oak wood stain and then again with a dark walnut except for his face. Dry brushed some green paint on the top, black paint on the eyes, and a Modge Podge gloss over the eyes to make them pop! now I can’t wait for his plant to arrive in the mail!
printed in max scale in 2 parts but the Supports break away . First time under the Fingers building the heart
second print Support breaking away under the skin .
need advice for perfect print ,please
Printed in two pieces @ max scale on the X1C.
Head printed out just fine (see photo)
I too had the finger / heart fail - twice!!
First time I was using PETG as interface Support
Second time using the same PLA as the print.
I painted support Enhancers in Bambu Studio, now waiting for more two tone wood filament to try again.
If that does not work - I'll add designed support.
I'll upload the successful print profile - when I get it to work.
Great model - thanks you for sharing it!
Probleme da die stützen unterhalb der Hände/Herz und Kinn abgebrochen sind.
Erst mit einer Veränderung der Stl Remix aus Base und unterteil gut druckbar.
Das von mir hochgeladene Remix wurde allerdings entfernt
you might have adhesion issues. as for your remix model, please discuss it with MakerWorld as I do not have authority to decide why your model was removed.
I will reupload the model with stronger supports if that helps.
Great model - I printed 2 @ 225% - thank you for sharing.
Support Issue! After a couple failed attempts on the bottom 1/2 - I finally use standard strong support pattern & PVA as the Support interface. PVA has 0mm distance from part since it dissolves away.
