Description

As I often hit the fan and because of the dust that accumulates, I've decided to realize some Covers for the Auxiliary Fan.

If you like it, take a look at my other 3D printer accessory creations.

As you can see from the photos, there are different patterns:

Each of these patterns has three further configurations:

*** I recommend making the cover using PETG, ABS or CF materials especially if you frequently print with the chamber at high temperatures. ***

INSTALLATION:

  1. Insert at least two fins into the first slot of the fan.
  2. Push the remaining fin by slightly twisting the cover.

REMOVAL:

  1. It is possible to use the slot created on the top flap to insert a small flat screwdriver into the fan cover.
  2. Push down without prying on the fan in order not to damage it.

after trying to install it several times (it rubed against the fan) it broke so I'll try to reprint it tomorrow and hopefully it won't rub against the fan.

Oh sorry... if you need to, you can watch the assembly video in the description. It absolutely must not go deep. If you need anything, feel free to write me in private

thank you, even if it looks like the flaps are not in place, I would advise you to look at the assembly instructions to prevent it from falling :)

Hello, the model has been defined as original as it was entirely made and designed by me. There are many models of 3D printer accessories and clearly the similarities depend on the geometry and size of the printer itself. However, in case you are curious, I have all the CAD files, both .f3d and .ipt of each of the print profiles available.

As I told you, there are dozens of models of this type and they are all similar because the fan housing is made that way. As a matter of fact, having modelled a model from scratch, the existence of other similar models has no relevance, as CC does not protect the idea behind a model (and fortunately I would say, otherwise we would only have one product for each eventuality). Anyway, if you want to educate yourself on the difference between CC licences and patents, you are free to do so. If you have relevant comments on the model in question you are free to do so, otherwise please do not bother me.
