Description

The bead bracelet tray is tailored for crafting enthusiasts looking to efficiently organize and craft bracelets. The design facilitates the creation of bracelets in sizes ranging from 7 ¾, 7 ½, 7, 6 ½, to 6 inches (19.7, 19, 17.8, 16.5, and 15.2 cm for those using the metric system). Including two mini trays for additional bead storage, this model offers an organized crafting experience. Inspired by popular design from Michael's thanks to @ColtonX, this version emphasizes utility and ease of fabrication, making it a versatile addition to any crafter's toolkit.

 

Design Specifications

  • Functionality: Aimed at enhancing the crafting process, the tray supports the assembly of bracelets in five distinct sizes. It serves as a practical tool for both hobbyists and professional jewelers, ensuring an efficient and enjoyable crafting session.
  • Features: The inclusion of two mini trays for extra bead storage addresses the need for a clutter-free workspace, allowing crafters to focus on their creativity without the hassle of misplaced materials.
  • Dimensions: The tray's dimensions are 12 inches by 9.4 inches (30.48 cm x 23.876 cm), accommodating a broad spectrum of projects and workspace setups.

 

Versions Available

  1. [HALF] Split Design for Large Printers: This version is split in half with a dovetail joint, tailored for larger printers like the P1S and appropriate tolerance. It's designed for easy assembly and robustness. Add a dab of glue if desired.
  2. [QUARTER] Quadrant Split for Compact Printers: Designed with dowel connectors, this version is suitable for smaller printers, such as the A1 Mini, ensuring that users with limited printing capabilities can also produce the tray. A dab of glue on each quarter is recommended.

 

Printing Profile

  • Adhesion: To mitigate warping, a loose brim is set, particularly given the tray's substantial size.
  • Infill Settings: The infill settings have been optimized to strike a balance between durability and printing efficiency.
  • Layer Height: A layer height of 0.24 is used for a speedy print and strength. This profile prioritizes efficiency over surface perfection, an additional layer or two can be added for those desiring a smoother finish.

 

Attribution

  • The original design concept is credited to @ColtonX. This adaptation splits it in halves and quarters with proper joints, and optimizes the print settings in a Bambu 3MF.
