My original insert plate fell victim to a piece of maple so i modeled a replacement plate, with some slight modifications. There is more support on the underside around the opening to prevent any flexing with beefier pieces of wood. I also raised the insert by .5mm so there isn’t so much of a dip from the top surface of the table to the insert plate. My original one sat about 1mm lower than the table, and would often cause my boards to get caught especially when resawing narrow pieces. I printed with PLA+ on my P1P for my test piece and seems to be sturdy enough. I recommend 3 or 4 walls so there’s no infill along any of the ribs. It is printed face down with the top surface against the built plate so there’s no need for supports.
