Description

This project allows you to create a spherical structure using six specially designed plastic strips. These strips are made to interlock to form a globe without the need for cutting or folding like in a normal kirigami decoration. Ideal for enthusiasts of kirigami and 3D puzzle crafts, this design simplifies the process, offering a rewarding experience and a distinctive decorative piece upon completion.

Included with the downloadable files is a custom-designed jig that aids in the assembly process. To guide you through the assembly, there is also a video demonstration that shows how to use the jig.

If you have trouble following the video, here are a few other videos for assembling paper versions that may help.

The picture of the green globe with the yellow inside was some sort of glitch with the AMS or the slicer. I was printing several different colored strips on the same build plate and it printed the first layer of some strips in green and then, on it's own, switched over to printing the rest of the strip in yellow.
