Description

🇬🇷 What did the Parthenon look like at the height of Athenian splendor?

Nobody knows for sure, but traces of paint and tile found in the ruins give archaeologists and expert architects an idea. This hypothetical reconstruction is also based on typical features found on other similar buildings, such as the Temple of Hephaestus, located very close to the Acropolis, which is thought to be designed by the same architects and in much better state of conservation.

This reconstruction helps us imagine what this beautiful building used to look like when historical figures such as Pericles walked within its marble walls.

This model was originally created in 2014 by Dany Sánchez.

You can print it all at once, or with a separate roof, which allows for a different color and to avoid supports.
