A few Multiboard bin designs exist, however they all require a significant amount of filament and time to print.
With just three walls (1.2 mm), this is a minimalist design that resembles the IKEA SKADIS Bin designs. It also utilises a fraction of the filament compared to other Multiboard designs.
Print profiles contains a variety of sizes to suit most requirements, and this system makes it simple to attach and remove them.
For every bin, print two connectors or as required, and attach/reposition those to the Multiboard at the appropriate locations based on the bin sizes. After that, simply slide the bin over each connector. When the bin is pushed down, it should stay in place.
To remove a bin, simply push it up and pull it out.
Each unit corresponds to TWO Multigrid octagons, in accordance with the Multigrid convention.
A 0.5 unit is equivalent to ONE octagon, or 25 mm.
PLEASE check you are using the correct print profile for the height of the bins you require.
There are 3 print profile heights.
Using a XxYxZ naming schema where:
When the bin is named “1.5x1x0.5” it is 75mm wide, has a depth of 50mm and a height of 25mm.
