Description

This is the smallest I could get the model while still retaining the spear. I thought the spear was an important part of the silhouette, so I wanted to make sure to include it. But it was the most challenging part of 3d printing this model. You can easily print it smaller if you don't care about the spear.

The spear is not 3d printed. It is a bamboo skewer sanded down. I put the skewer in a drill and rotated it around some sandpaper. I also carefully drilled out her hand until it fit. I then put the 3d printed tip on it. The spear is supposed to have some wrapping below the tip, but I could find any feasible way to 3d print it. If you want the wrapping, you could consider using sculpting putty.

Print Settings

Supports are required. Default tree supports (on the build plate only) work surprisingly well. You may want to negative paint supports on her right arm above the elbow. Supports aren't needed there, and they can be difficult to safely remove.

4 Wall Loops is the most important setting. That will make sure the thin limbs have some strength.

Lightning Infill works well. 4 wall loops makes it plenty strong, the rest of the model can be basically hollow. It will still be quite sturdy.

Be careful when removing supports from her right arm and right foot. They are the most prone to breaking.

The spear tip should be printed with the lowest possible layer height, with a brim.

I don't know anything about resin printing. If you are interested in attempting to resin print this model, feel free to reach out to me and I'll provide what assistance I can.
