Description

I increased the size and split the model down the center the of original Woodstock model created by DesasterMan so that it can be printed with no supports. It is printed in two pieces with pegs so that it is easy to glue together. Additionally, I added colors so that an AMS can be used to give you a realistic looking Woodstock. I applied the completed Woodstock to a birdhouse doghouse combination that I use as a donation box for my Christmas light display (see attached pictures). The 3MF has two plates one for Woodstock and one for the pegs that keep the two halves aligned when gluing. The pegs are on a sperate plate since you need to enable a brim in order to get a good print of the pegs. Depending on your printer you may need to resize the pegs to allow for easy fit up. Make sure you make the pegs loose enough to easily slide in place. If it is too tight the superglue might setup before you get both sides pushed together which will cause you to have a small gap between the two sides.

I had to cancel the print but it was completely printed. I used a flush object and it wasn't printing right so once Woodstock was done I stopped the print.
Other Issues:When the flush object lost adhesion there was spaghetti on the bed and it got into the prints so there is black mixed into the yellow where it's not supposed to be. There was no defect in the file itself, this was all about bed adhesion and the flush item.

Sorry to hear about your bed adhesion issues. I didn't have any issues with mine. Now I did use PETG which typically sticks better than PLA.

print turned out great. I did have to use my dremel tool to get the pegs to sit properly, but that was more my fault than anything.
