Description

Printable Rack system designed around the filament boxes from Bambu.

 

To add stability, parts can be bolted together horizontally using a m2*8 bolt and snapped together vertically with the Upright Snap part.

 

Cabinet doors have slots to insert magnets to help hold doors shut.

Worked well. A stable little rack. Not only for boxes, also for Spool covers, see https://makerworld.com/en/models/46702#profileId-48532. Thank you. For my higher Prusa-Boxes I added some mm, so that they would fit. Just in the printer, so no photo ;-)

Printed the first 2 racks. Works great, without any problems directly form the Bambu Handy App.

Plate 1 so far is all I have used but all 4 times I printed the shelf it has come out smooth and they have connected very well.

Glad its printing out well for you. Plate 1 is really the only one that is required, everything else is optional. That said, the short top piece (plate 2) can help keep the top most shelf from flexing/sagging when loaded with a filament box. The side snaps on plate 7 also go a long way to adding stability to a stack, especially if you have a tall stack of shelves. Thanks for trying this out! Hope it works well for you.

You posted that it uses M2 bolts. However the holes actually fit M3. If you try to use M2 bolts, I think they'll be too small. But I happen to have M3s, and I think this is a great system. Thank you for designing it.
