Description

I want to thank you all for the boost coupons you sent me. I really appreciate them.

This is my version of Articulated crystal dragon.

Print the outer walls slow, keep cooling on, clean your bed and your dragon will be fine.

When removing from build plate, be careful not to brake any chain links. You can wait for build plate to cool down.

Do not scale down, it will be fragile.

It took a few tries to get it to stick to the bed, but I got it to work with a little repositioning and glue stick. This model is gorgeous!

what type of filaments do you use for the colors? or what type of paint can be used?

It is a very nice print, but it is very brittle. It does not take a lot for the end of the tail to break, so it is really only for decoration, not to play with.

I’ve printed several of these for family and friends. everyone loves them. My kids have managed to break theirs multiple times, but a bit of super glue or hot glue repairs it well enough. I used PLA silk. I’m new to printing; I’m guessing a different type of filament might be more durable.
