*Update- added a pair of twisty versions for the purge line style cup
Don't really know what to call these if you can't tell from the pictures. They're cups printed in vase mode that have an inner and outer chamber, the outer is either 15mm thick or a thinner 0.4ish mm to fill with filament change purges or individual purge lines respectively, post print. Print with a clear material to create a waste bin decorated from waste.
The shapes profile was designed so that there are 3 ribs made of 2 walls essentially touching connecting the inner and outer rings printed continuously in vase mode to provide some structure to the part and segment the areas to add the purge material. Should the ribs not fuse together, you may need to add a piece of clear tape to help hold the ‘open’ area together.
I just have a generic profile for both versions which should come out pretty ok like in my pics, but feel free to modify if you have preferred settings for clear prints. Slow, hot, no cooling, and clear PETG are a good place to start. If you want to get real fancy, modify the profile to have a top layer, but pause just before it to fill the outer chambers with the purge material before resuming.
Also can look pretty cool with a light under it if you're patient with your purge placement!
