Why does this keep happening?
I've slowed the print down, increased bed temp some, cleaned the plate, calibrated multiple times, cleaned the nozzle yet it fails on the first few layers 100% of the time. Attempted to print 5 times now and it just will not work. Bambu A1 Mini.
Thats weird. I haven't had many problems with my printer which is the same one as yours. I would adjust size settings or other settings, or just use the print profile that I have made if you haven't already. I would like to hear if your still having problems after trying those things.
Thanks for the quick reply. I want to say first, I'm not upset just a newbie trying to figure things out.
The first 2 times I tried the print I used your defaults then adjusted from there. After posting I tried printing the 0.2mm layer 2 wall 15% IF version and it completed. There were a few weird spots in the first neck section and the last tail section but, all in all it worked! lol I'm printing something else atm but I think I'm going to try adding a brim and see if it helps.
I added freckles to the otter and I can't even tell you how cute this thing is, the photos don't even do it justice. I've printed a lot of articulated critters and this one was my daughter's favorite because of how articulated he is! My customers LOVE him!
I printed 2 at once because if my wife gets something my son does too. One came with a deformity just behind the back of the head (i think it was my fault based on orientation), otherwise perfect. I printed this in Sunlu Blue. My son is 3 so he doesn't care about the deformity. It was printed at 220 filament and 55 bed.
This model is such a hit with the kids. It's ferret like slinky movement in your hand is amazing.
The final segment of the tail is consistently fused. Some if the other segments need a tiny bit of TLC to get them mobile. But I only know this as my kids have printed almost 20 now.
I've only had a failed print when trying to use a matte pla, but that is at least partially user error.
10/10 will print again... and again.
